PORTSIDE, HEART OF THE WEST END
Portside, heart of the West End, is a Town Team Movement project to revitalise the West End of Port Hedland, and ‘rebrand’ the precinct from a dull, dusty business area, into a vibrant hub that brings together business, creativity and community. The Portside team hired me to manage their social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and their email marketing, with the goal of building their brand online and promoting the businesses, community projects and events in the precinct. This job requires working not only with the project team, but liaising with stakeholders and community to develop consistent brand messaging and ensuring everyone is included in the content creation process.
PILBARA STYLE – RUNWAY SPECTACULAR
Pilbara Style was the first event of its kind in the region – fusing fashion, entrepreneurship and business to deliver a fast-paced, high-end runway event that put the Pilbara on the map. Managed by The Junction Co., I was asked to manage the social media marketing for the month leading up to the event, with the goal of building awareness, developing the event’s brand online, and making ticket sales. This was achieved by sharing stories of the designers involved in the event, showing behind-the-scenes footage and demonstrating the value of the event to the region creatively and economically.
Natasha from earth4me engaged me to help improve her online reach and engagement through her website and social media, with a view to increase online product sales. Based on her needs and budget, I deliver a monthly plan which includes creating and scheduling content for her Instagram account, and producing a monthly blog and newsletter to attract and retain customers.
I employed Nur to help me in areas of my business that I was no longer able to give 100%. being in Port Hedland our business grew very fast and I needed help. I handed a few areas over to Nur and after two months seeing her dedication and sincerity to help and grow my business I handed over a lot more. Thanks to Nur I now have a life work balance that wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for her helping quietly in the background. Having someone like Nur on your team is like hitting the jack pot, she is very trustworthy, fantastic with social media and wonderful at marketing she also has a keen eye for detail, she loves to get to know you and your business and creates ways to help you while creating content that matches and lines up with your ethics and business model, she has always gone above and beyond for me, I cannot recommend her highly enough greatly appreciated.Natasha Brock, Earth4Me owner
Locket Creations is a boutique visual branding agency, and Stacey engaged me to provide support in the areas of communications and administration to enable her business to grow. Working with her out of her office, I assisted in creating content scheduling workflows for her clients, as well as liaising with clients regarding their content, setting up appointments for regular consults and copywriting for her new website.
RACHEL GRACE – CORPORATE MINDFULNESS TRAINER
Rachel Grace moved to Port Hedland from Queensland, and sought my services to build awareness of her business and services in the community, specifically targeting corporate decision makers. Creating a strategy that focused on showcasing her expertise and experience, as well as ensuring that her personality and unique approach to mindfulness was communicated. Working with her graphic designer, we created content that that was simple to understand, that centred around bite-sized pieces of knowledge to give her target clients an insight into what they could expect of her services.
Nur is generous, smart, kind and strategic and best of all her social media work gets the job done. (f)empowered communications helped me to sell out an event in a town I’d recently moved to & Nur has helped me establish my brand in this new market. I am so grateful for her help and expertise. Next time I want to fill a local event or have an opening for new clients I’ll engage Nur to help me make it happen. Highly recommended!– Rachel Grace
